The Fairlawn Mansion will be darkened and you will need to bring your flashlight to walk through this amazing mansion on Friday, October 13, 2017.
Tours will begin every half hour beginning at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors, and $5 for children ages 6 to 17. The superstition tour is not recommended for children five and under because they may be frightened. No reservations are needed and all the information is at the Superior Public Museum website.
The Fairlawn Mansion was built in 1891 for Martin Pattison who was a lumber and mining baron. The building served as a children’s home from 1920 to 1962 for the less fortunate. It has been fully restored inside and out and offers tours, special events, weddings and private functions for those interested.
