Description:

Witness eagles, falcons, owls, and other birds of prey LIVE! Join other bird enthusiasts at the “Masters of the Sky” demonstration at the National Great Rivers Museum at Melvin Price Lock and Dam February 15 through 17, 2014. The educational and informational program runs from Saturday through Monday, beginning at 9 am each day.

“Masters of the Sky” is much more than just an educational program, however; it is a LIVE bird show! Learn interesting facts about each bird, all while seeing it up close and personal. Show times are 11 am, 1 pm, and 3 pm each day. In addition, there will be a free eagle display in the gallery at noon and at 2 pm each day, but for 30 minutes only, so don’t miss out!

45-minute eagle-spotting shuttle tours with scheduled stops along the river are also available at 10 am, noon, and 2 pm.

The Lock and Dam itself is a fantastic eagle-viewing hot spot, so you just may see one soaring through the air while you’re there! Be on the look out!

Ticket prices are as follows:

  • Adult: $5
  • Children ages 4-12: $3
  • Children ages 3 and under: free
