Description:
On Friday, July 4, celebrate our nation’s independence at West Point. The Independence Day Parade steps off at 2:30 p.m on Main Street in Highland Falls. Then at 8 p.m. the West Point Band will take the stage at the Trophy Point Amphitheater. The West Point Band begins the evening with “Salute to States.” During the performance, new cadets from each state will present their state’s flag. The band will play on, covering an eclectic selection including marches and rock & roll. The night will conclude with a spectacular fireworks display over the Hudson River.
The concert is free and open to the public.
In the event of inclement weather, the concert and fireworks will take place Sunday, July 6th.
Please allow extra travel time for the 100% vehicle and photo I.D. inspection at Stony Lonesome and Thayer gates.
