Do you remember those funny little cars we used to call “Beetles”? Maybe you even owned one? Well imagine having the chance to go back in time and see those funny little cars all in one place and on one weekend. You might even spot your model…you know the one.
Prepare to be amazed when you revisit the VW of your life during the “2015 Vintage Volkswagon Festival” May 17. VW after vintage VW will be displayed along the banks of the Huron River in Riverside Park in Ypsilanti, Michigan. You can talk to the owners who love to swap stories and hear new ones.
On Saturday May 16, members of the Michigan Vintage Volkswagon Club, meet in Riverside Park at 9:30 AM to caravan to Willow Run Airport and begin a full day of activities. Pre-registration is required for this ride, fly, race and eat event.
The festival runs Sunday May 17 from 9 AM to 3 PM.
