To really see the beauty of Warren you need to take to the skies.  At the Warren-Sugarbush airport experienced glider and tow-plane pilots will help you do just that. In the fall, the views from the silence above the hills are simply stunning.

Glider rides are best booked in advance, however you can usually get a flight time by calling only a day or two ahead. Flights last from 15 to 30 minutes—your choice—and cost in the range of $125 to $175 per person. Your experienced pilot will be able to point out all the highlights that pass below you, as well as tell about how the amazing sport of gliding actually works.

One of the best past parts of the experience is that you sit in the front of the two person cockpit and enjoy about a 270 degree view through the glass canopy.  Be sure to take a camera with a telephoto lens and a big memory card as you will be taking lots of photos!

Soaring is usually available mid May till around the end of October.
