Campesino’s Grill, an authentic Mexican restaurant located in the Village of Strasburg, is the place to dine when looking for great Mexican cuisine.  A popular dining location for the locals, Campesino’s parking lot is normally full each evening. The menu is extensive and the prices are very reasonable.  For a novice visiting a Mexican restaurant, the menu clearly explains what the different types of foods are from Burritos to Tostadas and everything in between.  Campesino’s has a bar called “The Watering Hole” and serves Margaritas, Daiquiris, wine, Mexican Beers, Domestic Beers and Draft Beer.  The Margaritas come in three sizes small, jumbo and monster or you can order a pitcher or half pitcher.  A word to the wise, if ordering a monster Margarita make sure you have a designated driver with you, you will be shocked at the size of the drink!

The staff at Campesino’s is friendly and always willing to explain items on the menu for you.  Portions are large and most customers leave with a full belly and a take home container.  After you are seated the staff quickly attends to your drink order and brings you a basket of chips and their homemade salsa with a hint of cilantro, yum!  A personal favorite is the Fajitas, chicken or steak with onions, bell peppers, mushrooms and broccoli, served with guacamole salad, sour cream, cheese, beans and flour tortillas.  When visiting Strasburg, a stop at Campesino’s Grill is a must.  You will not go away hungry or broke!
