Cafe Roulant is the first Rolling Cafe of its kind to grace the historic streets of Eureka Springs. Cafe Roulant is a trolley car retrofitted with 7 dining tables. Last night I got to experience first hand Eureka’s newest and most unique dining experience. Each day a new restaurant is featured, last night Fresh Farm to Table Fresh restaurant was featured.

When I made my reservation online I was able to select the entree I desired. Dinner started with a garden salad, I selected the balsamic dressing.  For my entree I enjoyed a grilled chicken breast which was placed over a bed of creamy vegetable risotto. Tasty chicken grilled to perfection and the vegetable risotto floating in a sea of creaminess, it was delicious. For dessert I was served a yummy pumpkin cheesecake sitting on a brownie-cookie base. The cheesecake was light and sweet and the base was a chewy crumbly shell, yummy.

As I worked my way through each course the friendly trolley driver, Tom, provided a tour of Eureka Springs. I think the idea is brilliant, dine while you tour the streets of Eureka. If you are looking for a new way to dine and explore our little town, Cafe Roulant is for you.
