When it comes to boat tours, you just can’t beat the Blue Claw. Captain Rob is an affable man with a passion for boating and it shows. His knowledge of the area and ease at the helm makes for a fantastic excursion from the town landing at Meeting House Pond in Orleans, down The River, along Barley Neck, and out into Little Pleasant Bay eventually entering Chatham Harbor to see the gray seals.
Along the way, Captain Rob entertains with stories of buried pirate treasure attributed to the infamous Captain Kidd, a notorious pirate that sailed off the coast of Cape Cod in the 1800s, and points out the interesting flora and fauna along the route.
In addition to the 90 minute seal tours, Blue Claw offers river tours, beach combing adventures, private sunset cruises, and a trip to visit a working oyster farm.
