Description:

Pack your own bag lunch and head to the St. Louis County Heritage and Arts Center (The Depot) on Thursday, May 19th, 2016 for lunch with the History People. Bob Matson will be presenting an overview of his book entitled What’s In Your Boat House? Amazing Stories of Nautical Archeology!

Mr. Matson has worked in television and radio, was executive director of the North American Bear Center and currently owns a business that specializes in vintage boat restorations. Bob says that every boat has a story to tell and he has many stories to share, family histories, tales of remarkable boat restorations and amazing pictures to go along with his unique presentation.

The event takes place on the first floor of The Depot which is home to the St. Louis County Heritage and Arts Center so plan to spend some extra time exploring this historic building and all that it offers. The program begins at noon and lasts one hour. Seating is first-come, first-serve theater seating and is open to the public with no reservations required. Coffee is provided and the event is free!
