It’s happening right now, today. All along Ocean Avenue from Junipero Street to Monte Verde Ave. and 2 blocks in each direction to the north and south, over 200 spectacular, diverse Marques of collector vehicles, American & foreign, from 1940 – 1973, with Ferrari’s and Porsche’s up to 1989 line the streets for anyone to gawk at, take photos of and even sit inside a few.
The brainstorm of Dave Freeman, this 5th annual event supports the local Carmel Foundation, a 63 year old non profit organization assisting seniors on the Monterey Peninsula. The vehicles on display at the Concours on the Avenue are different than those that will be seen throughout the week at the different vehicle events that surround the Pebble Beach Concours de Elegance taking place on Sunday, August 18.

This is one of the few Free car event taking place on the Monterey Peninsula this week that had been dubbed "Car Week" You can get up close and personal with the car and the owner. Have a non car freak in the family, no worries, the event is staged along Ocean Avenue with never ending one of a kind shops, galleries, award winning restaurants, wine tasting and even some high end chain stores.
