White Oak Lavender is a family-run farm owned by Rich and Julie Haushalter. The lavender is harvested and used in a huge variety of ways such as aromatherapy, bath and body products, baking and cooking, and the essential oil can also be used for medicinal purposes.
The farm itself is absolutely beautiful with displays of vivid green and soft purple, and the floral scent is both soothing and welcoming from the moment you arrive to the second you leave.
White Oak Lavender offers tours, lectures, celebrations and classes, and there are also a number of animals that make their home at the farm. Enjoy the antics of their energetic miniature horse Lady Be Free, the sweet faces of their alpaca, and the friendly faces of Beau and Nilla, rabbits in the “rabbitat.”
Rest assured that all visitors are kindly welcomed, treated to fascinating information about the lavender process, and encouraged to return at any time.
From the Author: I am personally a huge of lavender (both the color and the plant), and White Oak offers a beautiful, calm setting. With so much surrounding lavender, the farm is almost therapeutic in and of itself! Mix that with friendly, knowledgeable hosts and I can't help but highly recommend it to anyone who wants a unique tour.
