The Williamsburg Salt Spa, the first of its kind on the east coast, opened its doors in Williamsburg VA in 2008.  Initially importing over 15 tons of salts from Pakistan and Poland to create a therapeutic cave like atmosphere in which to relax and breathe in the healing minerals such as potassium, magnesium, calcium, iodine, & Bromine.

The Salt Spa offers therapeutic sessions where you can simply sit back and relax in provided lounging chairs or take in a massage while breathing in the healing elements & soaking up the soothing sounds. The temperature is kept at an ambient 75 degrees with a relative humidity level of 40 to 50% for optimum comfort.

The new float tank provides you an opportunity to drift in silky, high quality, salted water for total body relaxation at a soothing 94.5 degrees. The tank can be fully closed for ultimate experience or left open to your comfort level. The tanks are located in private rooms with private bathroom.

The Salt Spa is located just of Jamestown Road in Williamsburg and is minutes from the “Historic Colonial” area and a favorite of tourists and locals alike.
