This historic home of grain baron, George G. Barnum, was built in 1910 and is now The Firelight Inn on Oregon Creek Bed and Breakfast.
The red brick home boasts a glass enclosed front porch on the front and side of the mansion and overlooks Oregon Creek as it works its way to Lake Superior. Five luxurious suites feature fireplaces, featherbeds, private baths, Jacuzzi whirlpools for two, and the finest amenities.
Your full gourmet breakfast is delivered to your suite each morning where it can be enjoyed privately by the firelight. You may also choose to dine on the front porch, dining room, or on an outdoor deck.
Special packages include onsite massage therapy in the Woodland Suite, small and intimate elopements, honeymoon, anniversary and birthday packages, soup suppers with wine or a cheese, fruit, and cracker platter.
