Stoudtburg Antiques…or Stoudts Black Angus Antique Mall as they refer to themselves on their website… is ONLY open on Sundays from 7:30 am – 4:00 pm.  Seasonally (summer/fall) they have an outdoor pavilion that’s open from 4:30 am – noon.

This large antique complex is a series of warehouse-type structures that stretch from the beer garden located behind Stoudts brewery and restaurant, up the hill and ending at the “Wonderful Good Shop”.  The mall has over 70,000 square feet of space and over 300 dealers selling quality antiques.

There’s a little bit of everything in this mall.  Furniture, collectables, pottery, art, lighting, architectural antiques, rugs, lamp shades and holiday decorations.  The goods span all eras, geography, price range and styles.  There’s a shop that sells large Italian antique furniture, another sells locally crafted redware, another is nothing but Persian-style rugs (right next to the guy selling stained glass windows!), and another sells wonderful antique hook rugs and other colonial crafts. It’s definitely worth taking your time and making sure that you walk up and down each and every aisle!!

With over 300 dealers, I can’t possibly describe everything  except to say that Stoutburg Antiques is one of my favorite antique malls in Adamstown, and the place I would go if I could only shop at one.
