Rockland Food Service is a wholesale grocery store that sells primarily in bulk to small businesses and consumers.  It has the usual – baking goods, paper goods, cleaning goods, frozen foods and dairy but it also has one of the largest selections of local Maine beers and other domestic and imported beers north of Portland.  At last count they had over 250 brands of microbrews and craft beer chilling in their coolers.

They offer beer and wine tastings every month to show off some of the new brews that they got in so if you are in the area (and over 21 years old) on the 2^nd Friday of the month, be sure to stop in between 4-6pm. They usually have at least 4-5 different beers and 4-5 different wines all being sampled for the day.  Erika and staff are fairly knowledgeable about their brews! It is free and it is always interesting.
