The Northern Waters Smokehaus offers delicious smoked and cured meat, fish and vegetables in a brand new restaurant. Their new and second location is just off Woodland Avenue in the Mt. Royal shopping complex. Opening at 10:30 a.m. Monday through Saturday, their lunch menu includes a smoked salmon sandwich or salad, turkey breast sandwich or pork loin schnitzel sticks that have been deep fried. The appetizer menu includes wings, tacos, ribs and bratwurst. Get your lunch from the Smokehaus and enjoy it along the shore of Lake Superior on your next getaway to Duluth, Minnesota.

The dinner menu begins at 4 p.m. and has so much to choose from including Lake Superior whitefish chowder, a sockeye salmon wrap, Nicoise salad featuring trout from Lake Superior, smoked duck breast and a rack of lamb. Dinner is served until 10 p.m. and happy hour is from 4-6 p.m. Take out service is available until 3 p.m. Reservations are not accepted.

All kinds of dried meats and fish along with gift boxes and shirts are available on their website. The Northern Waters Smokehaus has a strict no tipping policy. They state that they pay their staff so patrons don’t have to. Really, they won’t accept your tip!
