Looking for a very scenic treat then you must visit Nobska Point Lighthouse while in Falmouth Cape Cod.  This is one of the area’s most sought after locations for a quiet and yes romantic sunset.  We know of  a number of couples who have gotten engaged at this site.

The lighthouse is the home of the commander for the Coast Guard’s Southeastern New England sector.

An important and major restoration of the Lightkeeper’s House will be ongoing during 2013 by the US Coast Guard.  Because of all of the construction, the normally scheduled interior tours will not be offered.  If a group tour is desired they may be able to be scheduled in advance by emailing uscgauxwoodshole112@gmail.com and establishing a reservation.

Although you may not be able to enjoy a tour, you can still enjoy the grounds and the incredible view of Martha’s Vineyard from the top of the knoll.
