Lily’s is a great place to eat whether dining out for a special occasion or just an every-day treat.
Lunch is served Monday to Saturday from 11 – 3:00 pm, Dinner Monday to Saturday, 5 – 9:00 pm and Sunday 4 – 9:00pm, and Brunch Sunday 11 – 3:00 pm.
A “city friend” came to visit us and we all went out to dinner at Lily’s. His comment after our meal was, “I can’t believe Ephrata has a restaurant like this” (I’m still trying to decide if I should be offended!). What he was referring to was the fact that Lily’s has a spiffy, hip, art deco décor, a fantastic and diverse wine list, exceptional fine-dining service, and delicious American-style cuisine served with an artistic flare. And I guess it’s a fair assessment that you might not expect a small town in the middle of Amish farms to have a snazzy restaurant that could compete with the best of the urban eateries… but Lily’s does.
The menu is diverse, including everything from great soups, salads, burgers and sandwiches, to steak, seafood and re-invented comfort food dishes like Lobster Macaroni and cheese. No matter what, be sure to try the bread which is fresh-baked on sight and is to die for!
From the Author: We love eating at Lily's not just for their wonderful atmosphere and delicious food, but because the owner, Steve Brown, is such an active member of the Ephrata Community and generally a good guy! He's always supporting local causes and organizations by donating meals for silent auctions or allowing groups to host events at deeply discounted prices. His generosity and community outreach are truly appreciated, and for me, it makes the food taste even better!
