Description:

Paula Gendron’s comfortable, friendly wine bar is moving down the road to 414 Historic Main Street. They will be re-opened soon to continue to offer a large variety of wines and beers. It is bright and cheerful during the day, and cozy at night. Restaurants and shops are just steps away making this a great before- and after- dinner location. Paula stocks dozens of wines from the Sierra Foothills, Napa and Lodi. Beer lovers are also happy here, with 39 types of bottled beers on hand and keg beer soon to come. Sparkling wines and sparkling wine cocktails provide added fun. They often provide free appetizers, including delicious homemade soups.

What makes this place extra special? They are one of only two places in the nation to print custom wine labels for the individual! Go in for an hour and by the time you walk out, you might have your custom bottle in hand! Choose from their templates, create your own words, or email them a picture from your phone – they will even lend you their phone if you need it. Take home a labeled bottle of your vacation for your friend’s dinner table, or a bottle for Mother’s Day, birthdays, anniversaries, or any special occasion. The options are limitless.

This little wine bar offers great ambiance. Its pleasant lighting and terrific background music makes it comfortable for couples, singles, and small groups. You can also catch a game on their corner TV, and enjoy their fun weekend night events. The custom souvenir wine bottle cannot be beat!

From the Author: We first got acquainted with this fine lounge at a friend’s birthday. We had a great time enjoying some drinks, and took a group photo for her bottle label. We went across the street for dinner, and before we were done, the birthday girl’s custom bottle was ready! Now, we keep going back for Paula and Mark’s delicious Boston style “chowda” and friendly conversation. We like to park in the public parking lot just across the street, which is really handy when historic downtown is bustling.
