General Heath’s is a relatively small multi-dealer shop in the heart of Adamstown (Antique Capital), PA, but what they lack in size they make up for in quality and service.  The shop is open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 10 am to 5 pm.  Saturday and Sunday they’re open from 9 am – 5 pm.  They’re closed Tuesdays.

The store is brightly lit and well organized, not a stuffy/cluttered mess like some shops.

There was a pretty good assortment of antiques to check out… everything from primitives, old books, signs, Civil War and other Military collectables, glass, pottery, dolls, toys, furniture and more.  There’s even a shop that sells an assortment of country store “display cases”!

Take a look at their facebook page to see all the special themes they employ throughout the year to keep things fresh and fun for customers.  Everything from showcasing lots of “green” antiques at St. Patrick’s day to setting up special “back to school”-type antiques in September… and of course, gorgeous Christmas displays.

There are LOTS of places to visit when Antiquing in Adamstown, and General Heath’s is definitely worth the visit.
