The owners saw the Segway introduced on television on a Good Morning America segment. They purchased a couple of glides for their own use and felt it would be a great opportunity to see Duluth Minnesota on a unique piece of transportation. There is no experience necessary and the folks at Duluth Glides will teach you everything you need to know and make you very comfortable on your first “glide”! Their website has a listing of frequently asked questions and addresses everything you need to know about your experience on a Segway. There is a calendar of every tour offered and a place to make secure reservations online. The tours take place rain or shine and participants are encouraged to dress for “cooler by the lake” weather conditions. Of course, there is a liability waiver to print and sign to participate.

Tours costs from $39 to $95 and are offered at various times Tuesday through Sunday through September. Saturday tours are available in the month of October.
