Karpeles Manuscript Library Museums contain the largest collection of original documents, photography and manuscripts in the world.
Exhibits on display in Duluth, Minnesota have included the original draft of Mendelssohn’s Wedding March music, the history of the dictionary and thesaurus, manuscripts belonging to Einstein and Galileo and documents representing political history, war, and religion.
The Duluth museum is located in a historic building hear downtown built in 1912 and boasts a large main floor exhibit hall.
The museum is open Thursday through Sunday 12 to 4 p.m.
