Description:
Located in a vintage 1891 home, the Northern Prints Gallery represents the work of the Northern Printmakers Alliance, area printmakers that live in the area or have a long association with Duluth, Minnesota.
The media represented in this one-of-a-kind gallery include woodcuts, etchings, lithographs, screenprints, linocuts, monoprints, solarplates, and relief prints. Each print is an original work of art and are backed by a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.
Opened in 2003, the gallery has several different exhibits each year and maintains one of the largest galleries of hand made prints in Minnesota.
The hours of the gallery are 1-6 p.m. Friday through Sunday and by appointment.
From the Author: Master Printmaker Cecilia Lieder is a personal friend and many of her woodcuts and stone lithographs grace the walls at The Firelight Inn on Oregon Creek Bed and Breakfast. We have attended many of the openings at the gallery and are always amazed at the quality, diversity, and beauty of the exhibits.
