Description:
An old-fashioned, hometown street fair with live entertainment. There will be 85 street vendors, including many local artisans, set up on Main Street from Jarves Street to Liberty Street. Bring the family dog and participate in a dog costume competition and parade. Children’s activities will include story hour and a Teddy Bear Clinic. The main feature is the sandwich competition where local restaurants will vie for the honor of having “The Best Sandwich in Sandwich” as voted on by attendees. The street fair is free. There is a $20 fee to sample all of the sandwiches and vote for your favorite.
This annual event is hosted by the Sandwich Chamber of Commerce. There is a rain date of Sunday, June 30, 2013.
