If you remember Pub Fest from previous years, you remember lots of fun, food and music at Academy Park with the proceeds going to the Variety Kids Telethon. What started in 2009 as a one day event has grown to a three day music fest relocated to the outdoor stage at Art Park. This year you can expect to hear 5 national recording artists as well as 9 local acts over the three days.
Friday will be for you Blues lovers. Come out to hear Maria Aurigama, Joe Louis Walker and Kelley Hunt. Saturday is reserved for Rock and Roll including, but not limited to, Whiskey Reverb, Strictly Hip and Cue the Sun. Finish the night with The Machine performs Pink Floyd with Interstellar Light Show. Sunday is dedicated to Country. Come stomp your feet to 90 West, The Heritage, Lindsey Highlander and Eric Paisley. There is something for everyone.
Can’t have a festival without food and drink to sustain the attendees so for your dining enjoyment visit any or all of these vendors: Griffon Gastropub, Melloni’s, Casa Antica, Town Hall, and Favorite’s.
Gates open about one half hour before the acts take the stage and discount advance tickets are available through the Art Park web site or at the gates. Choose one day or a package of all 3 days.
From the Author: Bring chairs if you plan on sitting in the "cheap seats." However, for a bit more, there is covered seating in the VIP sky boxes. Purchase a single seat or grab your friends and family and take the whole sky box!
