So much to look forward to this year when Williamsburg Virginia rings in the new year on this,  the 22nd year in 2014,  with the tradition of “First Night”  This event will play host to some 8000 people who will come out to see preforming arts and entertainment of all types.

The main events will be held in several locations throughout the downtown historic area of Williamsburg and will exceed your expectations of a well brought in “New Year”.

There will be just about every type of music you can imagine from classical to jazz,  blues and folk.  A magic show by Joshua Lozoff will challenge your imagination and the Kenya Safari Acrobats will leave you in awe, but what will really knock your socks off will be the Midnight fireworks! Every year Williamsburg puts on an amazing fireworks show to ring in the New Year!

The food available will include Italian Sausage with Peppers & Fries, Steak and Cheese Sub, Burgers,  from B&G Concessions. Burritos,  Quesdillas and Nachos from Qdoba Mexican Grill. Homemade Lasagna,  Sweet Italian Sausage with Peppers,  Fried Garlic Chicken Sandwich, Vegetarian Philly Wrap, from ByGeorge Catering. That’s just a small sampling of food and vendors!

For the sweets and snacks expect to find Popcorn, funnel cakes, ice cream and more!

There will be plenty of restrooms and parking for the event and this is a very family oriented and friendly atmosphere so bring the kids and enjoy.  Tickets are $15 online or at the door!
