Your wish will come true when you visit the Ann Arbor Farmers Market, open Wednesday’s and Saturday’s from 7AM – 3PM. The daytime market has been open for 90 years and is located in the Kerrytown neighborhood of Ann Arbor. You will see table after table filled with a wide variety of produce, baked goods and plants from over 160 vendors. You will meet the people who actually produce them. This Farmers Market takes pride in their producers- only status, which means that everything you purchase is produced by the person or business selling the items.
Parking can be a challenge, but there is on street parking as well as some parking lots within walking distance. It’s also good to bring your own shopping bag to carry your purchases. Plan to spend some time in the area and visit the Kerrytown shops, located adjacent to the Framers Market. If you arrive near closing time, you can sometimes get a deal from the vendors.
From the Author: I love this Farmers Market. If you go on a regular basis, you get to know then vendors who will keep you up to date what crops are ready. Great fun!
