Just when you thought it was time to settle in for a long winters nap, Heart of Niagara is hosting the third annual “A Taste of the Niagara Region” at the Conference and Event Center of Niagara Falls. From noon until 3 PM more than 25 restaurants and caterers will donate a sampling of their specialties for you to taste so come hungry, very hungry.  Each business is hoping you will vote for their sampling as “The Best Taste of the Niagara Region”.

At this time there is reported to be more then $1000.00 in prizes to be won in the basket auction (including tickets to area attractions) for those attending to bid on.  Entertainment, music and prizes for the all will be provided by the local Classic Hits radio station, WHTT – 104.1 FM.  Tickets are available for purchase online via PayPal at the website link above.  Or send a check or money order to Heart of Niagara Animal Rescue, P O Box 462, Lewiston NY 14092 (please include a stamped self addressed envelope, phone number and e-mail address for your confirmation receipt).  All tickets will be picked up at the door to save on cost of postage.  If you need more information about food vendors or prizes, you can check their web site.

All proceeds go towards protecting the health and welfare of abandoned, unwanted and homeless animals.  To date Heart of Niagara has adopted out more then 250 animals.
