The Village of Woodstock comes alive Friday Dec. 6 2013 when the 32nd Annual Woodstock Open House is held. Merchants and restaurants stay open late, galleries and gift shops open their doors, and the sound of carolers softly singing warms the winter night as you walk along the Village Green.

Part Norman Rockwell meets It’s A Wonderful Life, this night of goodwill is a welcome respite away from the malls. Although it is the perfect time to get great, unique holiday gifts; it’s really a time to celebrate community, enjoy friends and remember that this season really is about Peace on Earth. Enjoy horse-drawn carriage rides, flame throwers, ice sculptors and a plethora of artists on the streets and in the stores sharing their skills and talents from 5 to 9 p.m.

Embrace the spirit of the season and make a weekend of it.  The Woodstock Inn on the Millstream  is right up the road, within easy walking distance to the  heart of town and the heart of the Woodstock Open House. Come, relax and enjoy.
