Centered in the Heart of Williamsburg Virginia, the Williamsburg AleWorks Brewery, which was Established in 2006, has brought forth a vast range of craft brews which has helped to forged a reputation of being a brewer of fine beers.

The brewery uses a direct fire process, the same process that larger breweries use, in the crafting.  Enjoy  a tour of Williamsburg Ale Works and you will get much more then a foamy and hoppy beverage, you will also enjoy hearing the long steeped history of ale crafting in Williamsburg and the importance of beer to the colonists, and all for just five bucks.

The brewery store is open from 12 noon – 5:30 PM, Monday – Saturday, and closed on Sunday. The tour Includes samplings of 6 beers from their rotating taps and a souvenir tasting glass to take home with you.

Some stores that carry the ales from the Williamsburg Brewery are Trader Joes, Whole Foods, Wegmans and Farm Fresh. You can taste many of the finely crafted beers in local restaurants like Chownings and Kings Arm taverns as well as the Greenleaf and College Deli.
