From the Author: The store is filled with great things for your gift list. The Elf on a Shelf is absolutely wonderful for kids. Our seven year old grand daughter last year wanted a Barbie "something or other" (what do grandpas remember from year to year?). Well her elf, Ralph, told our elf, Daniel, that she wanted that Barbie item. Since she was coming to our place Christmas day they arranged for Santa to deliver it to our place instead of her home. When she got up Christmas morning, at home, she was bummed because her Barbie thing was not there. Her parents said Santa gave it to a little girl whose Daddy was serving in Afghanistan. She was willing to give up her wish because that little girl's Daddy was serving in the military. Needless to say when her family got to Oma & Papa's house, she was surprised to she her Barbie thing. We told her Ralph and Daniel talked and they told Santa she was going to be here for Christmas. She got her wish and everyone had a Merry Christmas.
