Billed as Western New York’s Premier From Scratch Bakery, The Village Bake Shoppe is more than a place to pick up sweets or coffee cake to take home after church on Sunday. There is so much more to this shop than the name implies. Not only do they provide desserts for many of the restaurants in the Lewiston and Niagara Falls region, they have a booming cake business, especially wedding cakes, for mostly everyone in the area. Italian cookies or cookie bar party trays in several sizes for special occasions can be ordered for pick up, delivery or posting. The refrigerator case holds cakes and pies you can grab on the run for that dinner you didn’t have time to make dessert for.

Come in and enjoy a light lunch before you try to choose a pastry or three to enjoy with your coffee or tea while you sit at an outdoor table and watch the activity on Lewiston’s Center Street. They have home made soups, quiche, panini’s and other lunch items.
