You may have seen The Silo on TV when it was featured on Man vs Food.  The signature Haystack sandwich received good press and put The Silo on the food network map.  Last year, to meet public demand and please those in the crowd with slightly smaller appetites, they created a smaller version of the sandwich.  That is not the only item on the menu worth mentioning.  The sweet potato fries are finger lickin’ good and the hot dogs are 100%  premium Black Angus Beef.  Children’s meals include a small fries and 8 oz beverage and the meal size salads come with choice of dressing. Enjoy a cold beer or glass of wine with your meal.

One of the highlights of the meal is dining outdoors on the covered deck of the Silo and enjoying the view (no matter which direction you face).  When you are ready for dessert, stroll over to the caboose and chose from a very large selection of ice creams, including wine flavors.  Enjoy your dessert as you stroll along the bank of the Niagara River or sit on one of the swings that face the river.

The Silo is dog friendly and it is not uncommon for one of the servers to bring over a private water bowl for your furry companion to enjoy while you eat your meal.
