Tucked away at the junction of Georgia Highways 17 and 255 is this distinctive white and purple shop dedicated to all-things lavender, and the recently opened artisan gallery full of handcrafted goods and artwork. Step inside the cottage and your senses will be grabbed by with highly aromatic lavender products that will introduce both practical and aromatic ways to use lavender in your everyday life.
Owners Judy and Glen Walker offer only organic based herbals featuring local and imported lavender for body and bath, essential oils, healing salves, eye pillows of lavender and herbal blends, culinary must haves for the kitchen, as well as soap, laundry and cleaning products for the home. Select a variety of lavender items and make a personal gift basket for family and friends back home. Bouquets of dried lavender flowers can also be purchased to add a touch of the beautiful purple flower and scent to any room.
Hours are Monday-Saturday, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Sunday 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
From the Author: The Lavender Cottage and Garden also offers classes on the many benefits of lavender throughout the year as well as an annual Lavender Fest in July.
