Owners Aaron and Bethany

The Farmhaus is the quintessential coffee shop: cozy, unique, fresh, calm, and local.  Located on Main street in a farm house turned business, it’s no wonder where Farmhaus gets its name.  Inside the atmosphere is relaxed.  Books line shelves in a coordinated display of color, oversized arm chairs tempt you to their depths, and the staff is kind and cheerful.

Intended as a gathering place for locals, owners Aaron and Bethany truly encourage the mission by providing a selection of locally sourced goods.  Their coffee comes from Blanchard’s Coffee Roasting Company in Richmond, VA, and their baked goods are provided by Waynesboro Chef, Caitie Maharg.

The Farmhaus is the perfect place to pop in on a chilly winter afternoon after shopping in downtown Waynesboro.  Don’t miss it while you’re in town.

From the Author: I was fortunate enough to try the Farmhaus out on their big opening day! The Highlights of my first visit to the Farmhaus? My drink was excellent; I went a different route and chose a hot apple cider to avoid caffeine. It was marvelous, and foamed! I’ve never had cider like it. I split a giant cookie with my companion—butterscotch, yum!—and talked to owners, Aaron and Bethany about the whirlwind of opening a business.
