Description:

The Brewster Inn is a beautiful historic mansion surrounded by well-landscaped gardens. Home to former Maine Governor and Senator Ralph Owen Brewster who was Governor between 1925 and 1929, a Congressman in Washington for 6 years and then 12 years as a U.S. Senator. The Brewster Inn was the family home, owned by his parents and then by Brewster himself when he started out on his political career. The house doubled in size when in the early 1930’s he had Maine and quite possibly New England’s most famous architect, John Calvin Stevens transform the home into the stately property it is now.

The Inn’s 9 guest rooms all have something unique to offer and are all comfortably appointed. All the amenities you could want are in your guestroom, including very comfortable beds and pillows, plush bathrobes, LCD TVs, iPhone docks, and WI-FI. Some of the guestrooms also have fireplaces, refrigerators, and microwaves. The Honeymoon Suite even has a large whirlpool.

The wonderful living room has a big fireplace, comfy chairs, and couches to relax in. There is also a long well-cushioned window seat by a large main window where you can sit and read or just watch the world go by.

Anytime of year, The Brewster Inn really is a wonderful place to base yourself during your Maine vacation.

From the Author: Here's what a recent guest had to say about their visit to Brewster Inn: "My family stayed at the Brewster Inn while in Dexter Maine to attend a family member’s graduation. The Inn is beautiful, relaxing, and comfortable. It's like being at home, only better because you have a delicious and decadent breakfast waiting for you every morning. Dexter has a lot of activities available for your family. It's also a central location and makes a great base to head out to explore other areas of the state as well. We've returned to the Brewster Inn many times and can't recommend it enough." I know Mark always wants to make you feel like your at home but The Brewster Inn really is better than being at home!
