The South Carolina Equine Park is one of the two epicenters of equestrian sports tourism in this area. With over 40 acres of manicured grounds, this park is designed for myriad events.
Thirty-plus hosted events per year draw in competitors and guests from all over the world. The SCEP has open rings and a covered ring which allow for all breeds, hunter/jumpers, quarter horses, paint horses, dressage, full breed shows, and youth programs/events.
In addition, it is a full service park with nine barns that host 288 horse stalls and an area designed specifically for vendors. All of the barns feature new footing in each stall. Young and old, there is an event designed just for you. In addition, they have a wonderful on-site cafe, Mane Street Cafe, that offers daily specials worth investigating. This is a “don’t miss”.
The park is located in central South Carolina with easy access to I-20.
From the Author: Fall and spring are the best times to visit the park as you will love the weather. We love the "peaceful" feel of touring the grounds. Of course, those participating in events will get to experience all of our seasons.
