Many of us enjoy the memories created at an outdoor Drive In Restaurant: where you could get the best Root Beer and the best burger in town. The saying goes “The Must See” is here in Sparta, Wisconsin.
Rudy’s Drive In is located at the corner of Water Street and Wisconsin Street as you come in to the downtown area of Sparta. You will see the orange roof and pull your car in to the drive up menus to order your burger, just like the old days! The carhop ladies will come out on roller skates and their vintage poodle skirts with a tray filled with your food. The smell of the grilling burgers and hot dogs waft for miles around when the wind blows just right, so cool! The true Root Beer and Root Beer floats on a hot summer day are the best. Bet you can taste them right now, I sure can! In the summer they also host old car shows for people to come and really get the old-fashion experience!

From the Author: I am at the age of remembering my grandparents and my parents going out for a special treat and we would drive up to root beer stands and get a large old-fashion homemade root beer. These memories can be made here again at Rudy’s Drive In for everyone to enjoy. The root beer floats are my favorite on a hot summer day!
