Calling themselves “an artful gift shop with Cape Cod charm” Painted Daisies in East Sandwich is my “go to” shop for unique and unusual gifts. I can always find something special to suit even the oddest of occasions.

They carry a wide selection of jewelry, some of which is very modestly priced, and elegant home décor. In the back room, Vera Bradley handbags and accessories are the staring attractions, while coastal décor graces the sunlit front rooms. Locally handmade soaps and those of the French milled variety are omnipresent along with personal fragrances and scented candles.

In the side room a glass case houses a nice selection of penny candy for the young and young at heart in your group. Jams, jellies, spreads, and assorted edibles tantalize your taste buds, as many are there for the sampling. I never tire of visiting this humble little shop on scenic Route 6A and I have never been disappointed by their wares.
