From the Author: The market has the best chicken salad I’ve ever had. Curiously, The Old Sautee Store is also known for its outstanding selection of amber jewelry (it has to do with the prior owner’s connections to the amber market in Europe). The current proprietors continue the amber tradition, along with offering a nice selection of other unique handmade necklaces and earrings made from semi-precious stones and handmade pocket knives.
