From the Author: Marriott Vacation Club made presentations about the villas at Newport Coast long before any building started. Lucinda and I were among the first to attend a presentation in Dec 1994. We witnessed the beginning of the construction and all of the grading and development of what has become known as the Newport Coast. We eventually became timeshare owners right before we returned to Northern California in the Fair Play Wine Country to set up shop in the B&B. We now enjoy our little spot of paradise whenever we can arrange a week at the Newport Coast Villas to escape the trials and tribulations of running the bed and breakfast.
