However, the Danish pastries actually claim first place. These authentic delicacies, fruit or cream filled, are made by hand (all Mulberry Market items are made fresh daily) in an “old world” style. No, you won’t find this recipe on their social media listings!

Mulberry Market is primarily a breakfast bakery — besides breakfast is an all day affair. They feature items typically perfect for a continental breakfast. But, it does not stop there. Fresh baked yeast breads, divine cookies, muffins, cinnamon crisps, macaroons, fruit bars, cakes and a fresh, hot cup of coffee are available. “A trip to Camden would not be complete without a stop or two at this wonderful bakery……and of course an order of a dozen croissants and lemon bars is a must to take back to TN with us,” offered Ginna Basile.

The small downtown shop is open until 3pm and during the local farmers’ market months, they are one of the featured vendors at the open-air market which is also downtown.
