Mug Shots Coffee Shop is a sight for tired eyes, and a perfect stopping point on any trip through Allegan. With such a wide selection, their coffee is great on-the-go. However, there are so many pleasing features to this shop that make it worthwhile to sit and relax while you sip.

Every wall is decorated with beautiful photos of downtown Allegan features like the Iron Bridge and the boardwalk in every season. There are multiple rooms for dining in, as well as a bar top space ideal for using your laptop (they do offer free Wi-Fi to all their customers).  Mug Shots has an impressive breakfast and lunch menu with high quality ingredients and large portions. They have a wall of every flavor of coffee bean they use in store, with dispensers to fill and bag your own to buy and brew at home.  They also have quite the selection of loose leaf tea for sale. If it’s a nice day, bring one of Mug Shots specialty pastries or muffins and a to-go cup of coffee with you to the gazebo and boardwalk directly behind the store.

Beside the register, Mug Shots has a few shelves filled with quirky coffee mugs. Couple one with a bag of chocolate covered espresso beans and make the perfect gift for yourself or your friend and coffee fanatic.
