Antique lovers won’t be able to resist Little Shop of Hoarders. This antique shop lives up to its name, as every inch of the antique mall is filled with antiques and collectibles. Whether you are a seasoned antique guru or a curious browser, with over 30 dealers the shop has a unique item for everyone to treasure. The hours for the shop are Monday through Thursday 10 a.m.- 5 p.m., and Friday-Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sundays the shop is open from noon to five p.m.
Allegan is home to the Allegan County Antique Fair the last Sunday of every summer month, so be sure to check out Little Shop of Hoarders on your way in and out of town. A real antique haven.
Although there are other antique shops in the area, Little Shop of Hoarders definitely has the most reasonably priced antiques in the area with dealers who range in focus from antique books, dishware, to jewelry and furniture.
There’s something especially gratifying about buying items that can’t be bought in the big chain stores, and that have a history of their own for you to imagine. Why buy the cheap reproduction when you can buy quality and originality for half the price? People just interested in browsing the shelves will have just as much to capture their eye as long term collectors will.
From the Author: I make it a point to visit Little Shop of Hoarders once a month. Even if I think I've seen it all, I uncover a new corner or display I overlooked previously. I've been to many antique malls but Little Shop of Hoarders has the best selection in the area for the best prices. On my most recent visit, I purchased a hand embroidered tapestry from India that I will treasure for years to come.
