What began as a simple commemoration of the 200th anniversary of Lewis and Clark’s expedition is now a towering structure that  memorializes the place where the two men set out on their journey westward.

Step out onto decks at 50 feet, 100 feet, and 150 feet above the confluence of the Mississippi and Missouri Rivers, where Captains Meriwether Lewis and William Clark began their exploration of the West, and hear the story of their ground-breaking expedition.

On a clear day, visitors can see downtown St. Louis, which is about 19 miles south of the tower.

Enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of the two rivers and listen to the flowing waters tell the area’s greatest story, that of the Lewis and Clark Expedition.

Tours are available throughout the day; the last tour leaves at 4:30.
