Not far from the shores of majestic Lake Superior is a new bakery and coffee shop in downtown Duluth Minnesota. The Lake Superior Baking Company has opened the Lake Superior Bakehouse and they celebrated their grand opening in August, 2015. All their baked goods are prepared from scratch on site from locally grown products and their coffee is roasted in house. This is a great place to stop for breakfast baked goods and that first morning cup of delicious coffee.

The beverage menu includes cold press coffee, delicious lavender lemonade, yummy blueberry rooibos iced tea, many choices of fruit smoothies, coffee coconut smoothies, iced chai tea, and freshly squeezed orange juice. Baked oatmeal is offered for breakfast along with quiche. Their delicious baked goods include many varieties of breads, savory and sweet scones, pies, carrot cake and cookies.

The hours of the coffee shop and bakehouse are Monday through Friday 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. The shop is located in downtown Duluth on a busy corner where the people watching is fun as you enjoy delectable offerings and great beverages!
