Anyone who knows me knows I like great food at a great price and I think I have found the perfect Williamsburg Virginia seafood restaurant.  The folks at Holy Mackerel have elected to serve only Seaford Oysters as their choice oyster and with good reason.  The Seaford Oyster company uses only environmentally sustainable practices in the planting and harvesting of oysters right here in the Chesapeake Bay.  Oyster farming is an environmentally beneficial form of farming that helps to remove pollutants from the bay in a sustainable way.

Now let’s get down to the tasty part, the crab cakes are very tasty in deed.  I have also enjoyed the Seared Scallops and the Steamer Combo which consisted of shrimp and Alaskan crab legs, on several occasions.  The chowder is packed with clams, and I have heard the Fish and Chips are the best ever!  I have also heard from visitors that the Teriyaki Salmon Skillet served on a sizzling cast iron skillet is amazing.  Oh, then there’s the all you can eat Alaskan Crab Legs on Monday nights from 4-10pm with soup and hush puppies for $20?  How do they do that?  I loved them!

There is plenty for the meat eater with steak, pork, chicken and rib entrees available and if your a senior, municipal work or active duty military, they even have permanent 10% discounts for you. Check them out the next time you are in Williamsburg!
