You are going to love this great new restaurant in Newtown. Hogarth’s Bar and Bistro opened up in the later part of 2013 and was the dream child of Cathie Upton and partner Chris Hogarth, if you have not been yet, you’re missing out on a very special experience.

There is nothing too fancy about the place, just good food and good atmosphere with a great happy hour. Hogarth’s, of course, has a British flare and inspired menu combined with some American favorites.  It reminds me more of a pub back in England or Ireland. I hear folks say they have the best fish and chips too.

When Chris and Cathie met they discovered a love for food, wine and for people to come together and have good times. With Cathie’s wealth of restaurant experience and Chris’s English roots being steep in the British pub scene I am confident this couple and their restaurant will make a proper go of it and thrive here in Williamsburg’s Newtown district. They open at 11:30 am for lunch and 4 pm for dinner.
