Park opens the first Friday of May for weekends only then about May 22nd the park opens every day until Labor day.

The hours vary depending on what day it is throughout the year so it is best to check their website link above for details once you know which day you will visit the amusement park, but here are a few seasonal highlights to consider:

Every Spring time they open the Park for three big weekends around Easter weekend.
September the park is open weekends only.
Hersheypark in the Dark is every October usually the last three weekends in October.
Hersheypark Christmas Candylane: Usually opens the third weekend in November until Jan 1st.

Hersheypark is family friendly and is a clean and safe amusement park to enjoy with kids of all ages. The park has 11 roller coasters and over 65 rides with 9 water attractions including a wave pool with a lazy river around it to just float on a tube.

It is very hard to do everything in one day, so a two-day ticket would be recommended. The water section called The Boardwalk at Hersheypark is open Memorial Day through Labor Day weekend.

Don’t forget to hit all the shows throughout the park. They do have a Preview Plan where you can use your daily ticket the night before for 2-1/2 hours before the park closes and only pay for parking one time. If you are going to Hersheypark Stadium to see a concert you can get into the park for $39.80, the day before, day of or day after the concert (special concert ticket price cannot do preview plan).
