Habersham Vineyards & Winery tasting room is located in the center of the historic Nachoochee Village in Northeast Georgia.  It is one of Georgia’s oldest and largest wineries, with 3 other locations scattered through the North Georgia Mountains. 

Habersham’s wine tasting room in the Nachoochee Village offers free tastings of up to 4 distinct wines, as well as additional wines for purchase as a tasting, by the glass, bottle or case.  You can mix or match from Merlots, Cabernet Sauvignon, Vidal, Seyval, Chambourcin and Chardonnay varietals produced from their 35 acre vineyards. Or, choose from a line of Southern Harvest wines made from Muscadine grapes, purchased from the south Georgia vineyards.

After your wine tasting you can also browse through their large retail area, which of course includes their wines as well as unique wine related gift items, a selection of cheeses, crackers and sausages to take with you to enjoy later with your bottled selections.

One of the unique features about the Habersham Winery is your ability to view the bottling operation and the tank and barrel rooms. The Habersham vineyards produce about 125 tons of grapes annually that produce approximately 15,000 cases of wine  per year. The tasting room also stays open until 8:00 PM on Friday and Saturday nights during the peak October season.  Habersham wines can be shipped to some states for your convenience. Just check with their tasting room staff if shipping is available for your area.
